Problem connecting my chestbelt to my iPhone?

I have the new Activio Smart Belt, sometimes I have problem to connect the belt to my iPhone.

I have read the instructions on myActivio com "Get Started: Step 3 - Connect the App" but still have problem to connect the Activio Smart Belt to my iPhone. What can I do now?

First of all, make sure you have the Activio Smart Belt (model: CSP8) with Bluetooth Smart technology that can connect to an iPhone (4S or later) or another Bluetooth Smart Ready Android smartphone (like the Samsung S4 or later).

The standard Activio chest belt (model: CS5) can not be connected to a smartphone.

Hi! Following the comments my question is, doesn't the smart belt work with a samsung s3 at all? I've downloaded the activio app as instructed, I've tried every option to get a bluetooth connection but my phone can't find it. Bought it new yesterday.

Hi Stian,

Which Android version are you using on your phone? If it is Android 4.3 or later then it should theoretically work since Samsung S3 has support for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). However, the S3 was one of the first Android phones supporting BLE and we have read that there were many problems associated with it. Have you tried your Smart Belt on another device to see if it works there?
