Trouble connecting with app

I am having trouble with connecting the app to the heart rate sensor.

The message that keeps coming up when trying to pair them is:

Could not find a heart rate sensor?

Hi, have you read the help articles at: http://support.activiofitness.com/knowledge-base/activio-smart-belt for both iPhone and Android.

Make sure that you wear the belt at the same time you try to connect. Also you need to pair the belt first in the app Settings. When you turn on the belt make sure the LED lamp on the front (in the Activio logo) turns green for a second.

Hi,

Thank you for the answer.

I have read the articles and so far it has not worked.

When I try to pair it in settings the message always comes up. I have never seen the green light on the sensor when I put it on.

This is a new sensor - could it possibly be broken?
